This Spanish company is engaged in the production, distribution and export of canned fish and shellfish products. It was founded in 1967 by the French families, Thenaisie and Provote. Its registered administrative office as well as its logistics centre is located in Mos, in the province of Pontevedra. Since its inception in 1967, the company has established itself throughout the years by providing complete production facilities for both its own brands and as a distributor for the most important distributors in the world. Its proprietary brands are Grandes Hoteles (including white tuna, light tuna, anchovy, mackerel, sardines, scallops, cockles, mussels, stuffed squid, squid pieces, and surimi), Pombina (including light tuna, sardines, cockles, mussels, and squid pieces), Tapas (white tuna, cockles, mussels, squid pieces, and giant squid) and Fisterra (yellowfin tuna, mackerel fillet, sardines, and mussels). The company exports its products in more than 40 countries in Europe, North America, South America, Africa and Asia. The company has fish processing and canning plants in O Grove, Pontevedra. In terms of international expansion, it has set up sales offices in Peru and maintains important alliances with production centres in Morocco. Its manufacturing operations in Spain have been certified in accordance with ISO 9001:2008 international standards.
